Mobilemo upholds your privacy and has instituted this Privacy Policy to protect you. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your personal information for our services on the Mobilemo website and mobile sites. Please read on to learn how we collect and use information obtained from this website.


INFORMATION COLLECTION AND HOW IT IS USED
Registration
Upon registration, you are required to provide certain information necessary in creating your own mobile site account. moPersonal and moBusiness members are required to provide almost the same type of information with personal and company details being the only difference.  Said information solicited upon registration are as follows:

For MoBusiness

From the above list of required information, the valid email address, password, security question, and security answer are kept private and are not disclosed to the public or to any third party. Personally identifiable information shall not in any manner be sold or rented to other firms or third parties.

Required information such as Mobile Site Name will appear as your mobile site ID which is unique and cannot be changed even after you decide to upgrade your account from Free to Premium. The mobile site name also appears in search results or on browse results pages in relevance to the keywords contained in other Mobilemo users’ queries within the Mobilemo mobile network.

Optional Information
Within your mobile site, you can provide additional information about yourself or the organization you are representing by clicking the “Edit Profile” link under your Control Panel and filling up the additional information fields. However, you must bear in mind that such additional information are not required. You may or you may not fill up the additional fields upon your discretion.  The following are optional information:

Premium Membership Payment
Mobilemo uses third party payment providers, such as 2Checkout and Paypal, to process premium membership fees.  These third party payment providers may require the submission of personal data such as name, address, credit card number, expiration date, and the like.  Mobilemo declares that it does not keep such data on its servers, and responsibility for such data rests with third party payment providers. 

Member-Submitted Account Information
mobilemo collects member-submitted information from its “Invite-a-Friend” tool.  Using the Invite-a-Friend tool, you can supply the name and the email address of the person whom you  would like to invite to join mobilemo and become a part of your mobile network. These information, namely the recipient’s name and his/her email address, are used by Mobilemo in sending your invitation email.  Recipients may decide to accept your invitation, learn more about mobilemo, or ignore your invites.

In sending invites through the Invite-Friends tool, information gathered will only be used for sending email invitations. It will be kept confidential by Mobilemo and will not be shared or sold to any third party.

Privacy Settings
Depending on the membership type (free or premium) that you choose, the degree of privacy of your mobile site may vary.  By joining as a free subscriber, most of the features of your mobile site can be viewed by all registered members of Mobilemo, except for your shared files which can be viewed and downloaded only by members of your friends/contacts list.  Meanwhile, if you register as a premium member, you will have control over the privacy settings of your mobile site.  As a premium subscriber, you can decide who can view your mobile site. 

Advertisements
When you register for free membership, you thereby agree to allow posting of advertisements on your mobile site, regardless of their content. If you do not want advertisements posted on your site, you may upgrade to premium membership. 

Cookies and Passive Data Collection
In order to provide a thorough and personalized service,mobilemo uses "cookies" to keep and occasionally track information about you and its other members. A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent to one’s browser from a Web server and stored in his computer's hard drive. Mobilemo uses cookies to track information for our users' convenience and to understand our customers better.

mobilemo lets other companies that show advertisements on some of its pages set and access their cookies on a user’s computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies. However, advertisers or other third parties do not have access to mobilemo's cookies. When one accesses mobilemo, its server automatically collects certain information that is not personally identifiable, such as IP addresses, pages viewed, and length of time spent on the website. Mobilemo collects and uses this information, in the aggregate only, to diagnose problems with its server, to improve its service, and to provide content of interest to its members. Such information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to members. In addition, user IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.

Links to Other Sites
You could be directed to another site while using mobilemo. You may occasionally see links to other sites via advertisements, other third-party promotions, or links posted by other Mobilemo members. Mobilemo is not responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites that you may visit through a link you found on Mobilemo. When you link to another site, you should review their privacy policy, as it may be different from Mobilemo’s Privacy Policy. Such sites may send their own cookies to users and otherwise collect data or solicit personal information. Mobilemo is not responsible, and shall not be liable, for the privacy practices of linked sites or any use such sites may make of any information collected from users like you. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by Mobilemo.

Children
Children are not allowed to register on Mobilemo or use its website or its services.

EDITING AND DELETING ACCOUNT INFORMATION, SECURITY

Your privacy is very important to us that is why your account information is password protected.  Although Mobilemo provides powerful tools for you to communicate and share information, the decision on whether or not you share certain information with other Mobilemo members or with the general public has always remained your discretion.

You can change any of your personal/business information any time, whether it be the information supplied at registration (with the exception of member email login and the mobile site name) or other optional information. You may change information in the Edit Profile and Account Settings areas. In addition, you also have the option to delete your Mobilemo account anytime. Upon deletion, Mobilemo will remove your personally identifiable information from its database.

WHEN DOES MOBILEMO SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Business Transfers
mobilemo does not sell, rent or disclose any of its members’ account information with third parties without first asking their consent to do so. However, in the event that Mobilemo or substantially all of its assets are acquired, Mobilemo may transfer its members’ account information and profile information without their prior notification or consent as one of the transferred business assets.

When Required by Law
mobilemo only releases member information when it believes such release is appropriate to comply with laws, enforce its Terms of Use and other agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Mobilemo, its users, or others.


VIEWABILITY
A mobilemo mobile site has two types of mobile pages. One is the static mobile pages where you can display pure text and does not require any response from the viewer.  Static mobile pages include the profile pages as well as text only pages created using the “create mobile pages” feature of your mobile interactive tools. The other type is the interactive mobile pages.  This type of mobile pages solicits a response or requires interaction from the viewer.  Interactive mobile pages include polls, forms, comments, and shared files. 

By default, all static mobile pages are viewable to the public (anyone). On the other hand, interactive mobile pages require that an individual is a registered mobilemo user, except for the guestbook tool and the file sharing feature.  Shared files can be viewed and downloaded only by members of a user's friends/contacts list while the guestbook is accessible to the public, though it maybe considered as an interactive page, for the reason being that a guestbook by nature should be accessible to anyone. The guestbook comes with its own enabled privacy tool both for free and premium users. Hence, anyone experiencing abuse on his guestbook can avoid spam entries by limiting guestbook privacy settings only to friends or registered users.

Mobilemo users who register for free membership are set to default status.  By default, all static and most of their interactive mobile pages are viewable to all mobilemo members. Said default setting for mobile pages can only be changed if the free users upgrade to premium membership whereby they will now be entitled to have the privacy setting feature. 

Premium members enjoy the privacy settings feature.  By having privacy settings, they can decide who can view their interactive mobile pages. They can limit participation by making it exclusive to friends or contacts only. They may also opt to welcome all registered Mobilemo users.  Or, they can completely open their mobile sites to the public, welcoming both registered and non-registered Mobilemo users.

Viewing of interactive mobile pages as mentioned above is the same for both the mobile phone and the moEmulator. Regardless of whether one is using a mobile phone or an emulator to access an interactive mobile page, he who wishes to view a premium mobile site that is exclusive to contacts will have to seek the owner’s approval first before he/she is able to interact with the mobile site.  Permission is granted only when the owner adds said viewer to his set of contacts which in the process includes the latter in the exclusive list of people who can interact with his mobile site. 




A NOTE ABOUT USING MOBILEMO SERVICES

mobilemo enables its members to create mobile sites, use interactive tools, and benefit from its other features.  However, members must bear in mind that information they send out during an interaction may be publicly available, such as in comments, forums, etc. Hence, Mobilemo encourages its members to be careful and not to publish any account or personal information in the course of interacting with other users.  In addition, whenever members disclose information through the Internet or through Mobilemo’s services, there is a risk that their personally identifying information can be collected by a third party, resulting to unsolicited e-mail messages or advertisements.


SECURITY


mobilemo takes precautions to ensure the security of its members’ account information and strives to keep it accurate. However, it cannot guarantee that hackers or unauthorized personnel may gain access to said account information despite its efforts.




CONSENT TO PRIVACY POLICY


By using mobilemo, its website, mobile sites, or any of its services, you consent to the collection and use of information about you in the ways described in this Privacy Policy. Mobilemo reserves the right to update and amend this Privacy Policy from time to time to remain consistent with new products, services, processes and Internet privacy legislation.

Mobilemo will post changes to the Privacy Policy on this page so that you are always aware of what information it collects, how it uses them, and under what circumstances they are disclosed. The amended Privacy Policy shall automatically be effective five (5) days after they are initially posted on the website. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any posted change constitutes your acceptance of the amended Privacy Policy as modified by the posted changes. For this reason, we encourage you to review this Privacy Policy whenever you use the Services. The last date this Privacy Policy was revised is set forth below.
